The Origins

Founded by Holly Johnson in December 2023, 1904 is a lifestyle company rooted in community, connectivity, and hospitality.

After earning a degree in Communications, Holly began her career as a corporate event planner. In the Fall of 2023, she took a leap of faith, enrolling as a graduate student at her dream school since childhood; Belmont University. Renting a room in a historic home in Nashville's 12 South neighborhood, the house number, 1904, quickly became more than just an address. It became a personal symbol of courage, reinvention, and the power of choosing purpose over predictability. 

Set to graduate in December 2025 with an MBA, and a concentration in Music Business, Holly's vision for 1904 is to combine professional expertise with lived experience to create meaningful events that break down barriers, build community, and inspire creativity. 

From concerts and festivals to weddings and corporate gatherings, 1904 exists to celebrate life's defining moments, shaping how we gather, revel, and live.
